AI Mentor

AI Mentor: a personal tutor for every student.

It explains the textbooks the school already uses, in Serbian or English, and shows teachers where students get stuck.

AI Mentor History 7 · First Serbian Uprising

Why did the uprising start in 1804?

In early 1804 the dahijas killed many Serbian knezes, an event known as the Slaughter of the Knezes. People feared for their lives, and in February the leaders met in Orašac and chose Karađorđe to lead the uprising. Shall I ask you something about it?

Wrong answer

Quick check: where did the uprising begin?

For students

  • Ask about any page or lesson and get explanations.
  • Summaries and read-aloud.
  • Quizzes generated from the lesson, with feedback.
  • Voice input.

For teachers

  • Quiz results, and short summaries of where the class struggles.
  • Assignments such as “practice this lesson and take the quiz”.
  • The best attempt counts, and late attempts are marked.

Built for trust

It supports the teacher. It doesn't replace them.

  • Parents and teachers don't see students' conversations; teachers see quiz answers and summaries.
  • AI Mentor keeps no names or email addresses, only what it needs to teach.
  • A “wrong answer” button lets students flag a reply for review.
  • Content comes only from material the school is licensed to use.
  • Grounded answers: AI Mentor answers from the textbook and the lesson, not from the open internet. When the material doesn't cover a question, it says so instead of guessing.
  • Built-in guardrails keep conversations on the subject and age-appropriate, and block requests to simply hand over homework answers.

How it connects

AI Mentor opens from a lesson in the school's LMS through LTI 1.3. It sends quiz scores back to the gradebook through LTI Assignment and Grade Services. It works with the Lerna Campus LMS and with other LTI 1.3 platforms such as Moodle.
